    Here is your London call-sheet

The fashion calendar is in full stride. After New York’s week of shows, the focus shifts to the British capital as London Fashion Week kicks off from 19–23 February.

This season continues the British Fashion Council’s renewed emphasis on supporting creative talent. The organization has waived show fees for designer members presenting physically on the main schedule and increased investment in its Guest Program, bringing international press, buyers and cultural commentators to London in greater numbers.

The result is a schedule that blends established names, rising stars and global talent, a formula that has long defined London’s fashion identity.

The Schedule: Icons and Emerging Voices

Heritage and household names will be returning, which also anchors most of the fashion week ahead. Burberry closes the schedule once again, joined by ERDEM, Emilia Wickstead and Richard Quinn.

The calendar also features recent award recipients, including BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner Conner Ives and Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design recipient Patrick McDowell.

Among returning names are Joseph, now under creative director Mario Arena, and designer Karoline Vitto, known for celebrating body diversity on the runway.

The line-up also spans Fashion East, Harris Reed, MITHRIDATE and Paul Costelloe, with the latter marking a poignant return for the label.

Emerging designers remain central to London’s appeal as a fashion capital. Through its NEWGEN initiative, the BFC has curated a dedicated showcase space throughout the week, spotlighting the next generation of fashion talent.

    Designers to Watch

London’s reputation as a creative incubator continues with a strong showing from independent labels and rising voices. Among those drawing attention are Chopova Lowena, Talia Byre, Jawara Alleyne and Tolu Coker.

Elsewhere, designers are embracing varied formats: exhibitions from A Letter and Johanna Parv, intimate dinners hosted by JW Anderson and Roksanda, a pop-up from KNWLS, and a market curated by Chet Lo spotlighting Asian makers.
