Unique iftars book during the Holy Month

As the Holy Month unfolds, planning an Iftar in Dubai becomes an opportunity to gather with family and friends in meaningful ways. In a city known for its dining scene, restaurants across Dubai have created Iftar menus that not only honour tradition but also create unique settings that make these special moments an experience to remember in their own right.

From peaceful beachfront settings to quietly elegant dining rooms, here are some of the most memorable places to break your fast this Holy Month.

    Nammos-Dior

    Nammos

Following its recent refurbishment, Nammos is marking Ramadan by transforming its beachfront into a special setting for Iftar in collaboration with Dior. After sunset, the Mykonos-founded restaurant invites guests to an immersive dining experience by the sea, where a bespoke Dior tent has been installed for the month.

The Iftar is served as a set menu inspired by traditional Arabic flavours and complemented by Nammos’ signature Greek-Mediterranean influences - all served on exclusive Dior tableware. Dishes include lentil soups and Greek salads as starters, the mains feature slow-cooked lamb and seabass, to Zaatar ravioli and black angus tenderloin. For those with a sweet tooth, the dinner is complemented with a selection of homemade desserts.

Across the venue, subtle Dior touches, from soft candlelight to Dior fragrances, shape the setting, while Ramadan-inspired entertainment adds to the atmosphere of the holy month. Together, the iftar setting turns the evening into more than just a meal, creating an immersive experience and a sense of occasion.

    Gitano-J1 Beach

    Gitano, J1 Beach

Set along J1 Beach, Gitano brings its signature Tulum-inspired aesthetic to Ramadan with a beachfront Iftar that feels more like a tropical escape than a traditional iftar evening. The menu is a sharing-style menu, which makes it a great option for those looking to celebrate iftar in larger groups. The menu focuses on Mexican-influenced flavours, featuring dishes such as guacamole, watermelon salad and smoky chicken pastor skewers. The setting draws the whole experience together with its bohemian spirit and its location right by the sea.

Dishes include soups and pickles, followed by plates including patatas bravas with yuzu aioli and wagyu ragù gyoza served with a cacio e pepe dip. Mains range from Angus tenderloin to smoked lamb shank and woodfire-roasted lobster. The meal concludes with karak brioche served warm with Hokkaido milk ice cream.

The resort’s Ramadan setting returns beneath “Gift of Time,” an installation by Emirati artist Shayma Al Mughairy inspired by Old Jumeirah’s traditions of gathering and shared meals.

Celebrating iftar as a buffet-style offering, the menu has something for everyone. It features Middle Eastern classics with dishes from the resort’s signature restaurants, including Japanese influences from Netsu and Portuguese flavors from Tasca.

For those willing to venture just 45 minutes outside the city, Al Maha offers a traditional desert Iftar set within its Ghaf Oasis. Held in an open-air setting beneath the sky, the experience provides a quieter, more reflective alternative to city dining. Guests begin with dates, Arabic coffee and mezze before moving on to classic Arabic dishes, including grilled meats and hearty favorites. Live oud music and touches of Emirati culture, such as Arabic calligraphy, add to the atmosphere.
