Celebrating the 95th Saudi National Day wouldn’t be complete without a touch of jewellery. And for this special Day, what could be more fitting than homegrown Saudi brands that honour heritage while capturing the spirit of the day, with the perfect fusion of tradition, innovation, and contemporary design.

In honour of National Day, MADAME Arabia spotlights five Saudi jewellery brands that capture the Kingdom’s pride and elegance.

    Lillian Ismail

At just 17, Lillian Ismail launched her namesake brand, becoming Saudi Arabia’s youngest jewellery designer. Drawing deeply from her cultural roots, she celebrates Saudi heritage and the Kingdom’s historic architecture through her work. Each collection transforms these inspirations into timeless pieces, weaving a storytelling experience that reflects the richness and beauty of Saudi culture.

Her iconic creation, the Saudi Coin Necklace, stands as a tribute to heritage, artistry, and timeless elegance. She later revealed a new design, the Vintage One Riyal Silver Necklace, showcased at the Islamic Biennale in Jeddah. A true masterpiece, it celebrates the enduring beauty of Saudi customs and traditions.

    Charmaleena

Charmaleena draws inspiration from Saudi identity, reimagining cultural symbols with a contemporary twist. The brand gained recognition with its bold “Swords of Love” collection, launched in 2013. It has since become the brand's bestselling collection, linking love with heritage.

One of the brand’s most striking collections, I’m from This Land, celebrates Saudi identity and its deeply rooted heritage.

Each creation honours the Kingdom’s rich traditions while embodying a vision of timelessness, pieces meant to be treasured across generations. Founded in Jeddah in 2012 by sisters Hala and Lina Khreijy, Charmaleena continues to shape Saudi jewellery with a distinctive blend of elegance and modern glamour.

    YATAGHAN

Founded in 2008 by Sarah Abudawood, the brand delicately fuses minimalist design, cultural heritage, and Sarah’s passion for architecture into timeless works of art. Her creations embody both style and identity, coming together in exquisite jewellery pieces that have earned her recognition as the inaugural winner of Jewellery Brand of the Year at the Saudi Fashion Awards.

Her Turathi Collection serves as a tribute to the Kingdom’s heritage, a bridge between eras. This collection celebrates identity and artistry, reinterpreting Saudi traditions for a contemporary audience. Featuring necklaces and rings adorned with palm motifs and the emblem of the two swords — the national symbol of Saudi Arabia — each piece is elevated with emeralds and diamonds, symbolising both legacy and modern elegance.

    Haneen Saber Jewellery

Haneen Saber launched her namesake brand in 2017, creating exquisite jewellery inspired by Islamic history and diverse cultural influences. Trained in Florence, she brought her artistry and vision back to the Kingdom, where she designs timeless pieces that fuse tradition with modernity, symbolising Saudi heritage with a refined contemporary aesthetic.

Her celebrated Shajar Al-Durr Collection pays homage to her legacy and enduring love for pearls, accented with emerald green details that embody power and grace.

    Saneem Jewelry

Founded by Waad Alshuaili, Saneem Jewelry offers a captivating selection of unique creations inspired by Arab culture and the Kingdom’s rich heritage.

One of her most stunning creations, The Najdiyah, is inspired by the architectural features of Al-Masmak Palace, a symbol of Saudi heritage often celebrated in art and culture. Named Najdiyah in homage to the iconic poem Tastāhil Al-Hubb Najdiyah by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.
