THE DOLOMITES CLASSIC RUN 2026: THE ART OF TRAVEL BY LOUIS VUITTON
The Louis Vuitton Dolomites Classic Run 2026 takes to the road from September 1st to 4th, bringing the House's iconic savoir-faire to a high-octane celebration of the classic grand tour.
Since debuting with the 1993 Vintage Equator Run in Malaysia, Louis Vuitton's legendary Classic Run has traversed spectacular landscapes, including 2006's Bohème Run through Central Europe. The highly anticipated 2026 Dolomites Classic Run marks a poetic return to the road, starting in Venice—the exact finish line of the last edition, the 2012 Serenissima Run.

Over the course of four days, the Louis Vuitton Classic Dolomites Run 2026 will transform into a moving gallery of art, heritage, and discovery. The prestigious regularity race brings together an extraordinary lineup of vintage cars curated from the world’s finest private collections. Navigating the scenic routes will be the owners themselves, including notable pioneering women collectors, competing in a masterful display of precision driving.
Through initiatives ranging from artwork conservation to museum restoration projects, the House contributes to safeguarding these historic landmarks and ensuring that their invaluable legacy is preserved and passed on to future generations. On September 2nd, the journey will start from one of the most enchanting estates of the Venetian mainland, Villa Pisani in Stra, unfolding through the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites. The designed route, shaped as a tribute to Louis Vuitton’s “Art of Travel”, will take the course through 600 kilometers in two days, crossing dramatic mountain passes, winding roads, and cinematic scenery.

The journey culminates on September 4th at Monza’s “Temple of Speed”. In a breathtaking collision of heritage and modern engineering, the participating cars will parade on the the iconic Autodromo Nazionale di Monza circuit during the opening of Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix™. Nearby, inside the historic Parco di Monza, the neoclassical Villa Reale will host a public exhibition of these extraordinary vehicles in its grand forecourt.

From Venice to Monza, the journey concludes in Milan at the historic Castello Sforzesco for the grand finale. Here, the winner will be awarded a bespoke trophy designed by Sabine Marcelis and crafted by the prestigious Italian art glass house, Venini. Transported in a custom Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk—a tradition of sporting excellence dating back to 1988—this final milestone beautifully reaffirms the House’s legendary ethos: "Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton."
