Luxury fragrance house NISHANE invites wearers to escape to the Greek islands with the launch of Meltemia, a new extrait de parfum inspired by the Meltemi, the dry northern wind that sweeps across the Aegean Sea each summer. Created as an olfactory tribute to Mykonos, the fragrance captures the warmth, brightness and effortless elegance of the Mediterranean through a composition that unfolds from sunrise to sunset.

Named after the seasonal wind that defines summers across the Greek islands, Meltemia reflects the changing atmosphere of a day in Mykonos. From the crisp freshness of morning air drifting through citrus groves to the golden warmth that lingers over the island after sunset, the fragrance has been designed to evoke both the landscape and the feeling of a Mediterranean escape.

"Mykonos in summer has a particular brightness," say NISHANE founders and creative directors Mert Güzel and Murat Katran. "We composed Meltemia for it."

Developed in collaboration with Spanish perfumer Jordi Fernandez, Meltemia belongs to the Citrus Amber Muskfragrance family. It opens with vibrant notes of Italian bergamot, bitter orange and lemon, lifted by fresh rosemary and warming ginger. At its heart, orange blossom and Petalia introduce a delicate floral softness, complemented by the resinous richness of Peru balsam and petitgrain absolute. The fragrance settles into a warm, long-lasting base of Ambreine, Akigalawood and sandalwood, creating a refined trail that balances freshness with depth.

Crafted at a 35% extrait de parfum concentration, Meltemia reflects NISHANE's commitment to exceptional longevity and richly layered compositions. The fragrance is presented in a striking sun-yellow flacon finished with bright orange typography, while its cream and gold outer packaging is adorned with the House's signature rider motif and a stylised sun, reinforcing the inspiration drawn from the Greek summer.
