Design Commission Abu Dhabi (DCAB), under the chairwomanship of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, has partnered with luxury maison Tiffany & Co. to launch the Tiffany & Co. Residency Program. Combining the Emirate’s rich culture, architecture, and artistic heritage with nearly two centuries of Tiffany's innovation and design excellence, the initiative expands DCAB’s multidisciplinary residency portfolio. 

The programme allows participants to refine their technical proficiency and experiment with material exploration, cultivating their own design language that is contemporary in vision yet rooted in heritage. 

The programme runs from November 2026 to April 2027, where 10 selected residents will have the opportunity to attend weekly Saturday sessions at a dedicated venue in Abu Dhabi. The residency will conclude with a capstone exhibition in May 2027, where the participants will showcase their work. 

The residency also offers a three-month internship programme for 3 top-performing participants at the Tiffany & Co. New York Headquarters from June to August 2027, where they can experience one of the world’s most iconic luxury maisons.

DCAD is running an open audition between August 17 and September 20, 2026, where interested applicants can submit their applications and portfolios directly via their website. The initiative connects emerging local talent to global luxury institutions, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s creative economy.
