Cartier Introduces the New Clash de Cartier Bag
Cartier brings its jewellery expertise into the world of leather goods with the new Clash de Cartier bag, a sleek new design inspired by one of the Maison’s most recognisable collections.

At the centre of the bag is its jewellery-inspired clasp, which opens with a twist of the signature Clash de Cartier stud. Clean and understated, the detail gives the bag a subtle connection to the Maison’s jewellery heritage while becoming an integral part of its design.

Crafted in Cartier’s workshop in Florence, the bag is made from exceptionally fine, naturally grained leather with a soft tactile finish that is designed to develop an elegant patina over time. It is available in black, caramel and Cartier’s signature burgundy, the colour first introduced with the Must de Cartier collection in the 1970s.

The silhouette itself takes inspiration from an envelope, with clean lines and a fastening system that allows the shape to be worn in two ways. Left open, the bag takes on a softer, more relaxed feel, while turning the stud creates a more structured finish. Designed to more easily between occasions, it can be carried by hand, on the arm or over the shoulder.
With its refined craftsmanship, jewellery-like inspired details and quietly elegant silhouette, the Clash de Cartier bag feels like a natural extension of the Maison’s design language.
