Paris Fashion Week Weekend Runway Recap

Sculptural silhouettes, vibrant colours, intricate craftsmanship, and ease of movement, the weekend runways at Paris Fashion Week offered it all. From Hermès to Celine, here are the standout runways from Day 6 and 7.

    Hermès

    Hermès SS27 - Look 12

Hermès’ Spring/Summer 2027 collection balanced the house’s signature leatherwork with a lighter, more fluid sensibility. Close-cut silhouettes were rendered in sheer knits and supple leather, with bandeau details, open layers, wide-leg trousers, and column dresses bringing an airy feel. Thigh-high slits, perforated finishes, and adjustable zips brought movement to leather skirts and dresses. A grounded base palette of black and brown was contrasted by orange, yellow, and bright red.

    Alaïa

    Alaïa SS27 - Look 31

Alaïa’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection explored the tension between fabric and skin through sculptural, body-conscious silhouettes. Designed to accentuate the female form, the looks combined defined curves with fluid materials that brought softness and movement to the runway. Across looks, jersey twists, leather and knitted pleats, and voluminous layered skirts added texture and dimension to the pieces. Sharp pointed heels and statement jewellery completed the looks, creating a refined balance between sensuality and architectural structure.

    Loewe

    Loewe SS27 - Look 56

Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection opened with a relaxed take on American sportswear. Easy jackets, polo-inspired tops, casual trousers and skirts appeared in striking colour-blocked combinations, flared waists and sculptural peplum shapes sharpened the silhouettes. The collection gradually shifted toward a more feminine and ornamental mood, introducing sheer dresses, lightweight fabrics and delicate skirts. Intricate beadwork, floral details, colour-blocked leather and playful footwear brought a touch of Baroque extravagance to the wardrobe, balancing everyday ease with theatrical refinement.

    Valentino

    Valentino SS27 - Look 10

Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled Antibiblioteca, opened with jewel-toned satin corsets paired with contrasting pencil skirts finished with lace and feathered hems. Alessandro Michele embraced unexpected colour pairings, bringing together cobalt blue, vivid pink, lime, lavender and marigold for a high-impact presentation. The looks were styled with oversized jewellery, tinted sunglasses, embellished handbags and statement belts, giving the collection a playful, urban touch. As the show progressed, the silhouettes grew more theatrical with sharp shoulders, floral volumes, ostrich feathers and sculptural fan pleats.

    Celine

    Celine SS27 - Look 17

Celine’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection by Michael Rider explored the emotional power of getting dressed. The collection reflected Rider’s ideas of positive obsession, belonging and emotional dressing, allowing each piece to feel expressive without appearing overworked. Relaxed tailoring, collarless leather capes, delicate knits, satin shirts and slouchy trousers appeared across the collection in creamy white and hay tones accented by tomato red, hot pink and electric blue. Rather than relying on dramatic spectacle, the show found its energy in styling and unexpected details. Skinny belts, oversized bangles, beaded knitwear and slightly awkward proportions disrupted otherwise effortless looks.
