The first contemporary art exhibition to take place at the Pyramids of Giza

Under the backdrop of Egypt’s most sacred sites, the first contemporary art exhibition ever to take place at the 4,500-year-old Pyramids of Giza and its surrounding plateau returns for its fifth edition this November — an edition grander than ever from 11 November to 6 December 2025.

Nadine Abdelghaffar, founder of Art D’Egypte, revealed at a press conference on 1 October the impressive line-up of international artists whose work will be showcased.  The participating artists include Michelangelo Pistoletto from Italy; Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Alexander Farto, known as Vhils, from Portugal; and the dynamic Recycle Group from France and Russia. They are joined by Ana Ferrari from Brazil, Mert Ege from Türkiye, and Egypt’s own Saleha El-Masry. Further enriching the diverse roster are Nadim Karam from Lebanon, King Houndekpinkou from Benin and France, and Ji Park from South Korea.

This year, Forever Is Now is accompanied by two parallel exhibitions. The first, the Cairo International Art District (CIAD), returns for its fifth edition from 12 October to 16 November 2025. Spanning the Shorbagy Building and the historic Kodak Passage, CIAD will present five curated exhibitions featuring more than 70 local and international artists, transforming Downtown Cairo into a vibrant celebration of its architectural and artistic heritage.

The second, the Arts Décoratifs Exhibition, will debut at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir from 14 to 24 November 2025. Marking its inaugural edition, the exhibition will showcase the work of over fifteen Egyptian and international designers and artists, celebrating design and craftsmanship as integral threads in Egypt’s cultural fabric—within the halls of one of its most iconic institutions.
