Every December, the world eagerly awaits the New Year’s card greetings that royal families are famous for. This royal tradition is an absolute fan favourite and the perfect opportunity to see royals who aren’t as publicly active. Queen Rania’s New Year card celebrates the new generation and her extended family. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a cheerful photo with their three children amid nature, while Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa shared an adorable family portrait with their one-year-old daughter, Princess Iman, in the sweetest setting.

King Abdullah and Queen Rania shared their New Year’s greetings a little earlier than usual this year. The photo featured the King and Queen’s children and their spouses, all in coordinated outfits, while the King and Queen held their granddaughters, celebrating their most cherished roles as grandparents.
Prince and Princess of Wales
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared their annual New Year greetings last week, joining the rest of the royals around the world. The shared photo showcases the family of five sitting together in a meadow. “Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas.”
Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa

The New Year card of Crown Prince Al Hussein and Princess Rajwa has been circulating on social media for the past week. Since their marriage, the royal couple has begun the tradition of sending their own greetings. The photo shows the couple with their adorable daughter, sitting cosily at home, with Prince Al Hussein holding his daughter’s favourite toy, while Princess Rajwa looks stunning in a light blue knitted midi dress.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco
The family of Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco looked extra chic on their New Year card. Princess Charlene looked fabulous in the Holliday ribbed pleated metallic-knit turtle-neck gown with the tooled buckled belt, both from Ralph Lauren Collection.
Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex released a photo on Meghan Duchess of Sussex's Instagram with their two children, “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours”, reads the caption. The photo shows just how much Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have grown.
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium
The Belgian royal family unveiled their New Year card on Instagram in the most creative way. The photograph was taken at the Royal Palace of Laeken in Brussels and shows King Philippe and Queen Mathilde with their four children: Crown Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel, and Princess Eleonore.
Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg
The new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg have shared their first New Year card as Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, featuring their two sons. Their caption reads: “At this festive time of year, we are pleased to share our new family photos with you. We wish you all happy end-of-year holidays.”
King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain
King Felipe and Queen Letizia have released their annual New Year card, captured during an autumn visit to the town of Valdesoto, which was named Exemplary Town 2025. Posing with their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, the cards include handwritten messages reading, “With all our affection and best wishes,” and signatures from all four royals.
Princess Muna Al Hussein
Jordanian-Palestinian Reema Dahbour shared on her Instagram the New Year card greeting of Princess Muna Al Hussein, the mother of the King of Jordan. The shared card features the King’s mother in a gown created by Reema Dahbour, inspired by Black Iris, which was custom-made for her granddaughter Princess Aisha bint Faisal’s wedding last May.
Princess Fawzia Latifa of Egypt

Princess Fawzia Latifa, the daughter of the last King of Egypt, has released her own seasonal greeting card, featuring her husband Sylvain and their two children, Naël and Dounia. The card includes a message reading, “Our very best wishes to you and your family,” and is signed by the entire family.
