Our regional brands are having a major Fashion moment!

The hit Netflix series Emily in Paris is back with Season 5, and we’re already spotting some of our region’s homegrown brands on screen.

In Season 5, Lily Collins’s Emily swaps Paris for Rome, and the show is clearly tipping its hat to Arab fashion. She’s been spotted in not one, but two Egyptian brands: Mesh Mesh and jewellery label Jude Benhalim, in a stylish nod to the region’s talent.

Throughout this season, Emily was often spotted wearing signature pieces from Jude Benhalim’s jewellery collections. This wasn't the first time the actress picked a piece from the Egyptian brand during season four; she was spotted wearing the brand Ripple Gold Ring.

In a released statement, Benhalim said, “Seeing Jude Benhalim return to ‘Emily in Paris’ is incredibly meaningful. The show celebrates individuality, confidence and self-expression — values that are deeply rooted in our brand.

“Dressing Emily for a second season felt like a continuation of a story rather than a placement, where the jewellery becomes part of her identity,” she added.

In the season finale, the actress stole the spotlight in a striking all-red look, perfectly paired with Al Hambra’s 3D-printed red bag by Mesh Mesh, making for an unforgettable look.

This season wasn’t the only one that the hit series brought to their radar, our regional brands, and put them in the spotlight. Last season, Emily’s Lilly Collins and her co-stars were spotted in a few of the regional brands. Here are all the pieces that were spotted by regional brands.

    Maison Rabih Kayrouz

In the second episode of season four, the marketing executive was seen wearing a striking black maxi dress adorned with silver crystal embellishments from the couture collection of Maison Rabih Kayrouz.

This was not the only creation she wore by the maison; Sylvie also appeared in a white coat by the brand. In an Instagram post, the brand proudly mentioned that its collaboration with the label dates back to season two of the series.

    Maison Yeprem

It appears that Lebanese jewellery maison Yeprem has become a firm favourite on the show. After being worn by Lily Collins in season four, the maison makes a striking return in season five—this time adorning another effortlessly chic co-star.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu was spotted throughout the season wearing multiple statement pieces, including the maison’s signature Y-Couture earrings.
