CHANEL Announces Sydney Showcase for Cruise 2026/27
After debuting in Biarritz this April, CHANEL’s Cruise 2026/27 collection will continue its journey with a second chapter unfolding in Sydney on 5 November 2026, marking the House’s first-ever runway presentation in Australia. More than a destination choice, the move feels aligned with the very spirit of Cruise itself: movement, freedom, and the allure of elsewhere.
For decades, Cruise collections have occupied a distinct place within fashion. Less bound by calendar and convention, they speak to transition, wardrobes imagined between departures and arrivals, city and coast, routine and escape. With Sydney, CHANEL extends that narrative into a landscape defined by openness, energy, and a unique balance between urban sophistication and natural ease.

The presentation also marks an important moment for Matthieu Blazy, whose first Cruise collection for CHANEL continues its journey beyond Biarritz. As fashion increasingly moves towards destination experiences, Sydney becomes more than a backdrop, it becomes part of the collection’s story.

With its harbour, surf culture, and vibrant creative energy, the city reflects the essence of Cruise dressing: effortless, elevated, and made for movement. As CHANEL arrives in Australia this November, the House once again turns fashion into a journey, one shaped as much by place as by the clothes themselves.
