Chaumet Reimagines Royal Heritage with the New Joséphine Collection

The French luxury jewellery house, Chaumet, announces the launch of its new collection, the iconic Joséphine, set to be released in September 2026. A tribute to Empress Joséphine, wife of Napoléon and a fashion icon known for her independent spirit, strength, and avant-garde taste, the collection reinterprets the Maison’s historical heritage in modern, versatile jewellery designed for self-expression.

The collection is centred around several signature motifs that are deeply rooted in Chaumet’s history. The traditional tiara reimagined as rings, the pear motif inspired by the 1919 Bourbon Parma tiara, and the distinctive V-shape inspired by the aigrette hair ornament are all designed to be stacked and layered, offering versatility and style as one pleases.

Highlights from the collection include a High Jewellery parure featuring delicate diamond bands that form an openwork bracelet and the Triomphe de Chaumet ring adorned by sapphire in the Maison’s signature pear-shape and emblematic blue. Other features include the Joséphine earrings, crafted in white gold with pear-shaped diamond accents creating a trompe l’œil effect, the graphic and bold Joséphine earrings, and Joséphine pendants and earrings accented with Akoya pearls and v-shaped gold beads, with new variations coming in rose and white gold.

The collection also expands into timepieces with the new Joséphine watch that combines rose gold and stainless steel. The watch features a white dial encircled by brilliant-cut diamonds and contoured in a pear-shaped silhouette.

Designed to allow mix-and-match versatility, the collection blends historic royal aesthetics with contemporary craftsmanship and style. With Joséphine, Chaumet continues to celebrate modern femininity with timeless design.
