Hermès set to launch its Inaugural Couture in January
Under the direction of Nadège Vanhée, Hermès is set to enter the couture landscape. The new venture allows the French maison to further indulge its luxury clientele while reinforcing their allure in the high-end market space.

Hermès’ most anticipated venture yet will be presented to the world at the Paris Haute Couture Week in January, 2027. Since revealing its couture ambitions last year, Hermès has been quietly laying the groundwork for the launch. At the heart of this new chapter is a dedicated, specialized atelier, which is set to scale up to around 20 master artisans.
Since taking on directorship of Hermès’ womenswear in 2014, Vanhee has shaped the category for the maison with her refined eye for craftsmanship, and her incomparable mastery of leather, silk, and cashmere.

For the luxury house, the endeavour isn’t just about expanding its catalogue, but a strategic move to deepen ties with its most affluent clientele while securing its crown as the ultimate pinnacle of luxury.
