How Royals are embracing Autumn’s tailoring trend

Power suits are the go-to look this autumn, embraced by everyone from Queen Rania, the Princess of Wales, to the Queen of Spain
Power suits are taking over this autumn, as royals trade their midi dresses, skirts, and dress coats for more tailored ensembles, embracing the tailoring trend.
Queen Rania: A masterclass in power dressing

Queen Rania mastered that tailored look for her New York trip last month, making us want to invest in the best trouser suits this season. It's also a reminder of how a well-cut suit can so easily transform everyday dressing.
She showcased multiple looks, each a masterclass in tailored dressing. The Queen looked effortless as she stepped out in New York in a yellowish-off-white co-ord Max Mara suit. She added a pop of colour with a Zimmerman blouse and a Ferragamo soft bag in tie-dye.

Another timeless look: a monochromatic black suit. Queen Rania opted for a Loewe jacket and trousers, matched with pumps and a bag in the season's trending metallic colour.
The Princess of Wales’ Power Suit Moment

The Princess of Wales has stepped out in a Bella Freud tailored suit twice this season, confirming it as her go-to autumn uniform. The look is powerful yet classic, balancing modern authority and timeless elegance.
Designed by the British label, the sharply cut blazer and trousers have since sold out, making them one of the season’s most in-demand pieces. She paired the suit with a soft grey sweater at one appearance and a simple black T-shirt at another for a timeless, effortless look.
Royal Duo: Matching Power Suits

In a recent engagement, Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor looked striking as they both embraced the new royal uniform: monochrome suits. Queen Letizia looked chic in a deep wine-coloured suit, while her daughter Princess Leonor chose an oversized navy pinstripe suit by Hugo Boss, one of her mother's favourite fashion houses.
The queen of Spain and her daughter weren’t the only royals embracing the tailoring trend. Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and her daughter, Princess Amalia. The duo looked both elegant and professional during the 80th general assembly week in New York in co-ord sleek suits.

Take a cue from Princess Amalia, who added a touch of colour to her black suit with bold red heels, a subtle way to keep the look classic yet playful. Together, the duo struck the perfect balance of elegance and professionalism, while Princess Amalia, in particular, reflected the new generation of royals stepping forward with confidence.
