    Inside the 79th Cannes Film Festival

    The world’s most iconic film festival once again became fashion’s ultimate runway

    The 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival has officially begun, once again transforming the French Riviera into the centre of the global film and fashion scene. Running through May 23, the prestigious annual festival brings together an elite roster of actors, filmmakers, artists and industry figures, while the iconic red carpet continues to serve as one of fashion’s most closely watched stages.

    Walking the red carpet were Leïla Bekhti, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, members of the festival jury, Demi Moore, as well as Anaïs Demoustier, who attended for the opening film, La Vénus électrique, directed by Pierre Salvadori.

    This season, celebrities embraced a mix of classic glamour and contemporary couture, with standout appearances in designs by Ashi Studio, Elie Saab, Rami Kadi, Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani and Tamara Ralph and many more.

    From sculptural silhouettes and shimmering embellishments to sleek tailoring and timeless elegance, this year’s fashion choices reflected both individuality and cinematic glamour. Among the standout names, Maika Monroe and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu were among the stars commanding attention with effortlessly polished looks across premieres and festival events.
