Louis Vuitton has once again joined forces with renowned multimedia artist Alex Israel to unveil a new fragrance collaboration: Ocean BLVD.

This latest creation from their ongoing partnership is a tribute to the vibrant, sun-soaked culture of Los Angeles, infusing the Maison’s Cologne Perfumes collection with Israel’s signature colourful and pop-inspired aesthetic.

Since 2019, Israel has been sharing his idealised vision of Los Angeles through his collaborations with Louis Vuitton, bringing to life the essence of the Californian lifestyle with each scent. This year, the artist has produced a three-dimensional promenade that echoes Maison’s 2022 masterpiece, "Sunset Coast Drive." The result is an immersive, imaginary boulevard.

The Ocean BLVD installation is a two-metre-long sculpture that took over 500 hours and the expertise of 20 artisans to create. Made in France, it showcases Louis Vuitton's craftsmanship, featuring the Maison’s luxurious materials such as Taurillon leather, Taiga leather, and natural beige leather. Each element, from the palm leaves to the facades, is hand-shaped and assembled, embodying a fusion of fragrance and craftsmanship.

The journey through Ocean BLVD begins at the Pacific Chill Spa, a serene space reflecting the detoxifying fragrance inspired by the cool spirit of California. The spa's design, featuring a white cowhide embossed with a Monogram pattern, mirrors the blue and green gradient of the Pacific Chill bottle, symbolizing the verdant hills and the blue ocean. Next, visitors are whisked away to the Surf Shop of On the Beach, where the building’s facade is adorned with gradients of red, orange, and blue, capturing the essence of Venice Beach.

The adventure continues at the City of Stars cinema, where the nocturnal Cologne brings the energy of a night in LA to life with sparkling citrus notes and the warmth of sandalwood. The California Dream restaurant offers a dreamy sunset experience with hues of pink and blue, inspired by the gradient of the eponymous Cologne bottle. Finally, the iconic Malibu beach lifeguard station, dressed in blue hues of Afternoon Swim, invites visitors to a refreshing plunge into the Pacific Ocean’s embrace.
