Meet Madame: Amy Sessions, founder of WELLTTH
With over 20 years in the luxury industry, spanning editorial, publishing, e-commerce and personal shopping, including NET-A-PORTER and Moda Operandi, Amy Sessions has developed a deep understanding of the global luxury audience. Now, as founder of WELLTTH, a modern wellness platform designed for fast-paced lives, Amy brings that same elevated, customer-first approach to wellness. Here we find out more about WELLTTH and Amy’s journey from Editor-In-Chief to entrepreneur.

You spent many years working in luxury fashion and media. What inspired you to step away from that world and launch WELLTTH?
I spent more than 20 years in the industry, and over a decade interviewing incredible individuals across fashion, beauty, interiors, wellness and luxury lifestyle. It gave me a deep understanding of the customer journey, and of what people increasingly want from the brands they invite into their lives. Post-COVID, there was a clear shift. People still want to look amazing, but they also want to feel like the best version of themselves. I felt many wellness platforms were either too clinical or too young, leaving a largely underserved audience looking for something intelligent, elevated, and genuinely effective, yet designed to fit into a fast-paced life.
WELLTTH brings the same attention to detail, refined aesthetic and customer-first mindset I developed in luxury into the wellness space. I could not find the platform I wanted, so I built it: short, science-backed experiences that create meaningful daily shifts and compound into lasting transformation.

Was there a particular moment when you realised there was a gap in the market for a platform like WELLTTH?
I had always been entrepreneurial within the businesses I worked for, but knew I would eventually launch something of my own. The catalyst was my mum’s passing. She would always say, “Just go for it.” In many ways, WELLTTH is an ode to her.
Twelve months before the launch, and before investing in the app framework, I spoke to 20 mentors and industry contacts across luxury, fashion, beauty and wellness, hoping they would say, “Don’t do it.” Instead, every one of them said: “We are missing the same thing — if you build it, we want it.”
That was when it became a mission. I knew how to speak to an audience seeking depth, authenticity and an elevated aesthetic, and that trust has helped the community grow globally, with the US now our biggest market.

Wellness has become a crowded space in recent years. What did you feel was missing from the conversation, and how does WELLTTHaddress that?
What felt missing was wellness designed for the pace people actually live at. So much still asks you to stop and find 20 minutes you may not have. Nothing was really serving the fast-paced moments in between — in a cab, before a meeting, after a flight or when you simply need to reset your energy.
WELLTTH is built for those moments. Our Reframe audios shift perspective in two minutes or less, while five-minute movement and original Hz-frequency tracks support a tangible shift in state. It is about turning otherwise wasted time into an investment in how you feel, think and move through the day.

For those discovering the app for the first time, can you explain how it works and the types of experiences users can access?
WELLTTH moves with your day: POWER UP in the morning, OWN THE DAY for a reset, and POWER DOWN in the evening. Across each, members can choose The Mindset, with audio-led visualisations, meditation and subconscious reprogramming, or The Movement: short, intentional sessions for the body.
A new theme launches each month, from Anti-Aging to Release Stress & Anxiety and Own Your Morning. The Mentors and Guest Series also feature global voices, including Dr Barbara Sturm, Chervin Jafarieh of Cymbiotika and Eva Maria Hasenauer of Lanserhof, with new contributors added to keep the experience evolving.

The platform focuses on self-regulation, subconscious reprogramming and intentional movement. Why do you believe these practices are so important in today's fast-paced world?
In a fast-paced world, the ability to regulate your internal state is everything. The Mindset combines subconscious reprogramming, visualisation and meditation, while The Movement helps release tension held in the nervous system.
Together, they create a refined way to restore clarity, shift your energy and move through the day with more intention. The goal is simple: change what is happening within, so the external world can begin to rise to meet it.
Building a business is very different from building a media career. What have been some of the biggest challenges you have faced as an entrepreneur?
I have always built brands and communities in the luxury space. Building an app with a team in New York comes with its own set of challenges; mostly the time zone!
The biggest shift has been moving from shaping a brand within an established business to building every part of one myself. I enjoy that stretch. I like to refine and elevate everything, whether it is a brand, a business or an individual.
That same instinct sits behind The WELLTTH Group, which works with global luxury brands across strategy, content and commercial growth.

What does a typical morning look like for you, and are there any wellness rituals you rarely miss?
My morning routine involves mindset, movement and hydration, with gratitude usually at the close of the day. I’ve become more comfortable with being flexible about when I fit my daily non-negotiables into my day, as I often need to factor in working across time zones, but ensuring I do something positive in the morning is important as informs the rest of the day’s decisions.
Looking ahead, what are your ambitions for WELLTTH?
Building a global community focused on depth, authenticity and trust across luxury lifestyle and wellness through WELLTTH. Personally, I have also realised I cannot switch off the brand builder or editor in me, so I will be undertaking further projects and partnerships where there is alignment in values alongside my own, and where I can bring my industry relationships to brands that also have meaning and depth.

Tell us about you as a woman – what do you do when you’re not working?
I believe what we create is shaped by what we consume. Input creates output, so I’m conscious of the information, ideas and energy I take in, as it all informs the way I think, the perspective I bring and ultimately the work I produce, whether that be for WELLTTH or a brand I’m working with.
I love listening to podcasts, particularly on scaling businesses or on those who are exceptional in their fields. I’m also becoming increasingly interested in the art world, as well as being naturally drawn to anything wellness- and longevity-centric.
Looking back at the woman you were at the start of your career, what advice would you give her today?
Always go the extra mile — it’s never crowded — and embrace what you don’t know. Doing things differently is a superpower.
