Model, Entrepreneur, artist, and storyteller Romy Nassar is quietly building a fashion empire

There’s something about Romy Nassar. Her presence and beauty are unmistakably magnetic, while it’s clear there is a lot more depth to the model and entrepreneur than meets the eye. Born in Lebanon and based between Paris and Beirut, she is a woman who defies simple labels. She is a model, entrepreneur, artist, and storyteller. Her multifaceted path weaves together a background in law and economics, a successful modelling career, and her growing jewellery business, Romyni, each reflecting her lifelong fascination with beauty and fashion.

Romy’s journey began not in glossy fashion magazines but in her own curiosity about the emotional power of objects. “I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things,” she says. “When I find a vintage piece, I’m not just holding jewellery, I’m holding the feeling I had when I discovered it.” Her passion for sourcing and curating unique finds eventually evolved into Romyni, a digital space devoted to vintage jewellery and storytelling. For her, it’s more than a business; it’s a form of self-expression. “Many of these pieces came to me when I was fighting for stability or a sense of direction,” she explains. “They became my trophies, my protection, my reminders that I could survive anything.”

Every aspect of Romy’s life is guided by intuition. “Fashion has always been instinctive for me,” she reflects. “It wasn’t a calculated career choice; it was something that called to me. It shaped how I connect to people, how I see the world, and how I express myself.” That sense of connection is what makes her stand out in an industry often obsessed with perfection. Her creative energy feels lived-in and real, more about discovery than performance. “Fashion mirrors society, but it also mirrors you,” she says. “It’s constantly reflecting back your growth, your truth, your identity.”

Her Lebanese upbringing remains a defining influence. Raised by parents who celebrated beauty as a form of care, Romy grew up in an atmosphere where aesthetics were deeply tied to values. “My parents taught me that beauty is intention,” she recalls. “Our home was always curated, the table always set. My mother showed me that dressing up wasn’t vanity, it was self-respect. In Lebanon, presentation is part of our life; it’s how we honour ourselves and others.”

That same sense of reverence carries into how she curates Romyni. Each piece is hand-selected, often sourced during her travels. “Intuition is my language,” she says. “Every item I choose holds a story, a moment. My eye has evolved over time, but the process remains emotional. I follow what moves me.”

Before modelling, Romy worked in a corporate role. A world far removed from her creative instincts. “Leaving it wasn’t logical,” she says. “It felt like a weak decision, but it was the right one. I didn’t plan to become a model, but life opened that door for me.” What she found in fashion was not just a profession but a space to explore identity, art, and courage. “I work hard, and I never get anything easily,” she says. “But every challenge, success, failure, or rejection, builds character. And that’s what matters most.”

With an Instagram following of 244,000, social media has amplified her voice, connecting her to a global audience who resonate with her authenticity. “Most of my opportunities came through networking and online connections,” she acknowledges. “I know how important social media is today, but I try to keep it honest. I don’t curate a persona. If I’m happy, people see it. If I’m sad, they see that too. I think honesty is what people relate to most.”

Now, as Romyni grows, Romy envisions it evolving organically, without losing its intimate spirit. “It began as a passion project, a way to bring together everything I love: cinema, fashion, and storytelling. I want it to stay free, to keep that spontaneous energy,” she says. Each collection feels cinematic, blending emotion and design, with celestial motifs and sculptural forms that echo her fascination with movement and light. “My dream is for Romyni to become a voice of modern elegance,” she adds. “Something authentic that connects women through pieces that feel both personal and universal.”
