Paris Fashion Week AW26: The Designers to Watch
Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2026 is set to be a defining season, largely because of the designers behind the collections. After a year of major creative changes, this is the moment where we begin to see what those decisions really mean.

One of the most anticipated debuts will be Antonin Tron at Balmain. Balmain is known for bold glamour and sharp, structured silhouettes. Tron, however, is recognized for a more thoughtful and refined approach to design. His first collection will show how he plans to balance the house’s strong, confident identity with his own more modern and precise style. The industry will be watching closely to see how he reshapes the brand’s future.

There is also an emotional farewell expected at Alaïa, where Pieter Mulier will present his final collection for the house. During his time there, Mulier focused on sculptural shapes and strong craftsmanship, staying true to the brand’s dedication to the female form. His last show is likely to highlight the design codes he strengthened, clean lines, powerful silhouettes, and technical excellence.

Meanwhile, several designers are presenting important second collections in their new roles. At Dior, Jonathan Anderson continues to explore how to modernize one of fashion’s most historic houses while respecting its heritage. At Chanel, Matthieu Blazy is evolving iconic codes like tweed and classic tailoring without losing what makes the brand instantly recognizable. And at Balenciaga, Pierpaolo Piccioli is bringing his sense of romance and emotion to a house known for structure and edge.
Alongside them, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Hermès, and Schiaparelli will once again anchor the week with strong runway moments, reinforcing Paris’ position as the center of luxury fashion.
Overall, AW26 in Paris feels like a season of direction, where creative shifts begin to take real shape.
