The Resort Collections Setting the Tone for 2027
Resort collections have long existed between seasons, but in 2027 they have become something more intentional than a wardrobe for holidays. Today, they reflect a new way of dressing, one shaped by movement, versatility, and the idea that luxury should travel effortlessly between destinations, routines, and moments of everyday life. Across collections, houses are embracing a softer approach to elegance through fluid silhouettes, artisanal detail, and pieces designed to move beyond a single setting.
This season, resort dressing feels less about where you are going and more about how you want to live. Whether inspired by coastal ease, Mediterranean rituals, modern glamour, or quiet luxury, Resort 2026 captures a mood of cultivated escape, where fashion becomes lighter, wardrobes become smarter, and every piece feels designed to travel beautifully.

CHANEL
For his first Cruise collection for CHANEL, Matthieu Blazy extends the journey from Biarritz to Sydney, marking the House’s first runway show in Australia. Chosen for its iconic harbour, surf culture, and vibrant energy, Sydney reflects the spirit of the collection: one defined by movement, escape, and the idea of dressing for destinations both real and imagined.

Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton explores the dialogue between Paris and New York through Nicolas Ghesquière’s vision of movement, contrast, and cultural exchange. Inspired by New York’s layered identities and a rediscovered 1930s Louis Vuitton suitcase transformed by Keith Haring, the collection merges pop art, American wardrobe codes, and French savoir-faire into a celebration of duality. Vibrant colour, reimagined everyday pieces, and references spanning from graffiti to Gilded Age grandeur create a wardrobe where different eras, attitudes, and identities coexist.

Gucci
or GucciCore, Gucci returns to New York, a city deeply embedded in the House’s history since opening its first store outside Italy there in 1953. Presented in Times Square, the collection marks the fourth chapter of Demna’s character-driven narrative, merging the worlds of La Famiglia, Generation Gucci, and Primavera into a unified vision. Rooted in permanence and practicality, GucciCore proposes an everyday wardrobe of wearable essentials that remain distinctly and unmistakably Gucci.

Tory Burch
For Resort 2027, Tory Burch embraces an intentionally eclectic approach where familiar classics are reworked with spontaneity and charm. Sharp tailoring meets chintz florals, utility dressing, and richly textured fabrics, while vivid tones of saffron, ube, paprika, and garden greens soften against earthy neutrals. Signature details from sculptural draping and glossy leather to the return of the Buddy Bag and artisan-made raffia accessories create a wardrobe that feels expressive, optimistic, and distinctly offbeat.

Rabanne
Rabanne explores the power of styling as an expression of attitude. Under Julien Dossena, material contrasts and unexpected combinations create a wardrobe rooted in urban dressing, polished yet infused with a sense of city edge. Across collections, ease replaces excess, delivering a relaxed sophistication that feels instinctive, modern, and unmistakably Rabanne.
