TWO CITIES, ONE TABLE: BARCELONA AND BEIRUT MEET AT ALBÉ
One restaurant, two cities, and a menu that speaks both languages.
After its Barcelona chapter, Albé returns home to Lebanon just in time for long summer days and evenings that linger well after sundown.

Founded by Lebanese entrepreneur Joey Attieh, Albé began in Barcelona as a Mediterranean gastrobar inspired by the culinary traditions of Lebanon, Spain, and the wider Mediterranean basin. Following its success in Spain, Albé Beirut opened in Saifi Village, bringing the brand's signature contemporary Mediterranean cuisine to the Lebanese capital.

Barcelona and Beirut share an unmistakable love of life and good food, and Albé, now open in Saifi Village, is built on that connection. Its philosophy will feel familiar to anyone who grew up in Lebanon: food matters, but the time spent around it matters even more. Separated by sea yet moving to the same unhurried rhythm, the two cities meet at Albé, where memories, flavours, and traditions travel from one shore to the other.

Named after the Arabic word for "my heart," Albé draws on Mediterranean cultures, ingredients, and traditions. Founder Joey Attieh first opened the gastrobar in Barcelona, where its creative menu and relaxed atmosphere quickly earned a loyal following. In Beirut, the menu is rooted in fresh, seasonal produce from local Lebanese farmers, with comforting dishes made for sharing.

The space welcomes friends, families, entrepreneurs, and creatives in a city that never runs out of reasons to gather, an invitation to settle in. "For us, hospitality is about making people feel at home," says Attieh, whether guests are marking a special occasion or simply dropping in for a drink and a few plates to share.

As Beirut continues to find its footing through changing times, restaurants have become more than places to eat. They are where people come back together, celebrate moments big and small, talk things through, and feel like themselves again. Albé leans into that role, adding a perspective that spans both sides of the Mediterranean.
From Barcelona, with love, to Beirut.
