Versace Couture Returns, and pieter Mulier Holds the Pen
Pieter Mulier’s couture debut brings the house back to the Paris runway in January.
A familiar name is set to take the stage at Paris Couture Week in January 2027. Atelier Versace, the maison’s couture division, is ready for a runway comeback, its first show since 2016.

The return ends a hiatus of more than a decade and arrives with a debut attached. Under creative director Pieter Mulier, the show will mark his first couture collection for the house, promising the start of a new era for Versace. Mulier himself hinted at the moment, posting an Instagram story featuring the Versace logo as an announcement of his debut.

Couture is only the first chapter. A few weeks later, his ready-to-wear collection will be presented in Milan during Fashion Week in February, as is traditional for the house. Within a matter of weeks, fashion followers will see both sides of Mulier’s vision: the craftsmanship of the atelier in Paris, then the everyday wardrobe in Milan.
For a maison built on bold glamour, the timing could hardly be more anticipated. After years without a couture show, Versace has a date, a designer and a stage, and what our Versace will look like in the future is about to come into focus.
