What to Expect at Dubai Fashion Week
Dubai Fashion Week SS27 is here, and the schedule reads like a map of where fashion is heading: emerging designers beside established houses, regional creativity beside international vision. Here is who is showing and when, from opening day to the final bow.
Thursday 22 October
The week opens with Yousef AlJasmi, Sara Pedram, Pallavi Puri and Krésha Bajaj. AlJasmi, a Kuwaiti designer, is named in the organisers’ announcement among the edition’s regional names.
Friday 23 October
Friday brings NIF Global x London School of Trends, KEL, L’Scarlett, GNL Couture and Nafsika Skourti, a mix of student talent and independent labels.
Saturday 24 October
Saturday’s lineup features Laura Aparicio, Adriana Capasso, ODA, Monica Schuster and FADTALENTS. The talent platform FADTALENTS is marking 10 years.
Sunday 25 October
Sunday has the longest list: Picasso Institute of Arts & Design, Lili Blanc, Onori, Shoma, Kuni and Weinsanto. Victor Weinsanto founded the Paris label Weinsanto in September 2020.
Monday 26 October
The week closes with Christopher Italy, Josephine and Tarun Tahiliani. Tahiliani opened Ensemble, India’s first multi-designer boutique, in 1987, and started his own label in 1995.
From emerging talent to established names, this week’s lineup promises range, ambition and a few unexpected moments. We can’t wait to see what the runways reveal. Follow along for our highlights from d3.
